The Gabriele Basilico Prize - awarded by the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan, Studio Gabriele Basilico and Fondazione Studio Marangoni- is dedicated to the memory of a leading international photographer of architecture and landscape and is intended to stimulate young people to explore architecture and landscape through a form of photography that reveals its social and cultural figurative aspects.
The competition is held every two years and entrants must be under the age of 35. The aim of the initiative is to eventually play an essential role in research into and experimentation of visual expression on a par with other prestigious international awards in this category.
